Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen is my name. I'm Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My wonderful fiance JP and my wonderful Dad Henry are also part of our clan. People know me best through my Instagram page, @annephung. Here I tell my life story. The highs, the lows and all in between. In 1990 I moved to America along with my brother and parents at the age of one-and-half. If it wasn't for my parents' passion for dedication and hard work it is likely that I would not be with you sharing my story. So that they could give their children a chance at a more prosperous future, I focused on my goals and worked hard to achieve it. I had a set plan in life: go to university and get a corporate job, get married, buy the house, and then have kids. My life that I planned for me wasn't what it turned into. My corporate job in 2013 was something I dreaded. Status and money did not bring me joy. I believed that I was living a solitary existence to get a pay check. I was passionate about fitness and getting out and about with friends. while I walked this new path in life I discovered my passion for personal training. In 2014, I established my company and it will be 7 years since my birthday in 2021. Few Asian women are employed in the world of fashion. My goal in this industry is to help create a healthy and sustainable lifestyle that can meet the demands of my clients. Also, I want people to feel empowered to pursue their goals and achieve anything they desire in their life. As my career was taking off, I suffered one of the biggest losses in my life to datein the death of my mom. To be in Heaven she is now in peace after an 8-year battle against Scleroderma. But I still carry her with me and think of her every day. Life's lessons are often hidden from us however they are highly useful. Her passing has changed my life in a variety of ways. I truly believe that my death provided me with an opportunity to begin an entirely new chapter. She died at the age of 87 on Tet/Lunar New Year Day. The day was her chance to enter her next life. I got my second chance at living the life of a fulfilled and happy. At the age of 30 I feel a sense of living and being alive. It's not as if I'm just a mere existence anymore. In sharing my story, I hope that my thoughts will resonate with yours. My hope is to aid you in understanding that you're never truly alone. That you have the ability to achieve everything you desire. Since death is the only thing there is in this world, I hope you enjoy your life and die without regrets.
